The Site Assistance Program was established to encourage redevelopment in the CRA district. Grants are provided to bolster business expansion and property upgrades by assisting with the costs of engineering and architectural plans, building renovations and exterior improvements. Site Assistance Grants are on a reimbursement basis. Eligible businesses must be located in the CRA district.

• Funds for projects in the West Atlantic area, CBD-RC and Sub-Area #5 of the CRA District (north of George Bush Blvd. only) are available for up to 40% of the total project cost, with a maximum grant of $50,000.
  
  
• Funds for projects in other areas are available for up to 25% of the total project cost, with a maximum grant of $25,000 per project.
  
  
• Applicants will be reimbursed only for project designs and expenses approved in advance by the CRA board.
  
  
• Site Assistance funds are dispersed to grantees on a reimbursement basis after the application is approved, and after proof of vendor payment has been provided to the CRA.

Businesses and property owners are encouraged to meet with CRA staff to review eligibility and the application process before submitting an application. Grants are reviewed and awarded by the Board of Commissioners of the Delray Beach CRA. Please allow up to six weeks to process applications. Funding is budgeted on an annual basis and is approved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
