The Delray Beach CRA is seeking bids for the renovation of two (2) residential buildings located at 182-186 NW 5th Avenue (Muse House/Harvel Cottage), Delray Beach, Florida. The general scope of work for both buildings includes, but is not limited to site work, new hurricane resistant exterior windows and doors, renovation of the exterior façades, provision of ADA accessibility, renovation of the walls and ceilings, new floor treatments, and upgrades to electrical system, Also included is provision of new electrical and plumbing connections to Harvel Cottage; construction of a building addition and enclosure of the existing carport for the Harvel Cottage; and conversion of the garage to office space in the Muse house, including raising floor level to match existing.

Sealed Proposals (one original & one electronic copy) will be received by the City of Delray Beach Purchasing Division located on the second floor of City Hall, 100 N.W. 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444, until Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Pre-Bid Conference 

A MANDATORY PRE-BID conference has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, 2012 @ 10:00 am located at the project site, 182-186 NW 5th Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444. All interested bidders are required to attend and be prepared to ask questions. Senior project estimators are encouraged to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Free public parking is available directly south of the project site. Bidders shall report at the parking lot to Patsy Nadal, Purchasing Division, City of Delray Beach.
